Cultural programme in port city

A colourful cultural programme titled “Happy Florets”, staged by children, was held at Theatre Institute, Chittagong (TIC) last Friday. Floret Preschool and Daycare arranged the programme with the theme “Learning by doing”.

The programme featured recitation, dance, group and solo songs by the children.

The programme started with a group dance to the tune of the popular Nazrul song “Projapoti Projapoti,” followed by another group dance performance to the Tagore song “Phoole Phoole Dhole Dhole”.

The young ones, later, rendered the song “Amader Deshta Shopnopuri” and several more.

On the occasion, a painting exhibition, displaying the vividly coloured works of the tiny-tots was also held.
