Dr Jagadish develops energy saving devices

 Dr Jagadish Chandra Saha, managing director of Enviro Consultants Limited (ECL) has recently developed some devices which would help save fuel, LP gas, compressed air, kerosene cooker and battery at a certain percentage.

Dr Jagadish claimed that the devices would help reduce adverse effect of environment and health risks by minimising fuel consumption. These would also overcome fuel crisis, he said.

The newly developed devices were displayed at the Environment Fair-2012 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on the occasion of World Environment Day.

Monwar Islam, Director General, Department of Environment, Md Shahjahan, director, Alamgir Mahmud Mansurul Alam, directors, along with other directors of visited the stall on the concluding day of the fair.

Eco fuel saver can save 25 percent petrol and octane and protect harmful fume emission and sound pollution. Compressed air saver will save 60 percent electricity, energy efficient cooker and LP gas can save 35 and 25 percent power respectively, while eco bio-mass stove for rural areas will save bio-mass and husks up to 65 percent, Dr Jagadish said.

Enviro Consultants Limited (ECL) is also conducting research on saving gas and fuel in steel re-rolling mills and other industries, he added.
