Workshop on US culture, society begins at DU

  A two-day workshop titled ‘US Society and Culture’ began at Dhaka University (DU) on Saturday.

Bangladesh Association for American Studies (BAAS) and the American Centre jointly organised the workshop for the college teachers at Senate building of the university.

Cultural Affairs Officer of the American Centre Ryan Bradeen inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest.

Speaking in the inauguration ceremony, Ryan Bradeen said the American Centre in Bangladesh is working on different issues including education and research work, protecting minority rights, preserving history and culture, eliminating terrorism and providing schoolership to the students.
