Bangladesh-Japan parliamentary moitree group meeting held
Bangladesh-Japan Parliamentary Moitree Group hailed the Japan government's interest to finance the construction of the Padma Bridge and urged for its immediate implementation.
The group made the call at its 3rd meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here with committee president M Zillul Hakim in the chair.
The meeting stressed on developing friendly relations between the parliament members of both the countries to strengthen the bond of solidarity and cooperation as it approved the draft constitution of Bangladesh-Japan Parliamentary Moitree Group. On liberalizing the visa process for access of Bangladeshi manpower to Japan, the committee has requested the foreign ministry to take necessary measures in this regard. Committee members whip Sheikh Abdul Wahab, M Mojibul Haq, M Golam Mowla Rony and Apu Ukil attended the meeting. Director of foreign ministry (south-east asia) and concerned officials were present.
