A function of death claim settlement for payment of an endowment policy of Police Traffic Sergeant late Abdul Based Talukdal' held Thursday at JBC"s Head Office in the city. Managing Director of Jiban Bima Corporation (JBC) and Additional Secretly to the Govt. Parikshit Datta Choudhury handed over a cheque for Tk. 4.30 lakh to Tanjela Akhter, wife of the policy holder.

General Manager-Development and T/A Kamaluddin, Manager-T/A Aftabuddin Chowdhury, Manager-Public Relations Sheikh Khayerzzaman, Manager-Claim Md Sahid Iqbal along with other officials of the Corporation and nearest relatives of policy holder were present at the function.

It may be maintained that corporation has paid this amount as an accidental death claim of an endowment policy of Tk.2 lakh.
