United Cargo inks Forward Air deal
United Continental Holdings has inked a new logistics agreement between United Cargo (the cargo division formed by the merger of United and Continental Airlines) and Forward Air, making Forward Air the airline's primary provider of ground transportation service in the US "For five years, Forward Air has been United Cargo's primary trucking service provider in the eastern US," said Robbie Anderson, president of United Cargo. "We are very pleased to bring Forward Air's unlimited capacity, proven reliability and innovative technology to our customers throughout the country."
