Chevron Bangladesh in cooperation with Rotary Club of Jalalabad held an eye camp for poor patients at Aushkandi Union Parishad in Habiganj recently.

A team led by Rotarian Abdus Salam, a renowned eye specialist and surgeon of Sylhet Eye Centre, administered treatment to about 300 eye patients free of charge.

Of them, 45 patients require cataract surgery and Chevron Bangladesh will bear the cost of their operation.

Aushkandi Union Parishad Chairman Dilwar Hossain was present as the chief guest while Jalalabad Rotary Club President Shafique Ahmed Bakth, Chevron Bangladesh’s OE/HES Supervisor Matt Kelly and Government Relations Manager Motius Samad Chowdhury were present as special guests.
