Pre-budget talks with trade bodies starts today
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) starts the pre-budget consultations with trade bodies and business leaders from today as part of its preparation to formulate the national budget for 2012-13 fiscal year.

On the first day of the three-week consultation, the NBR will sit with the stakeholders of agriculture and poultry at 3pm and automobiles and transports at 4pm.

Consultation with apparel, knitwear composite and packaging will be held at 11am, rubber-plastic at 3pm and hotel, restaurant, guesthouse at 4pm on April 4.

The revenue authorities will talk to exporters who are not enjoying bond facilities at 10am and oil, gas, food-beverage and cigarette at 11am on April 7. The NBR has invited stakeholders of computer, ICT and Telecommunication for consultation at 3pm and electronics and electrical at 4pm on April 9. —BSS
