Bangladesh Insu-rance Association (BIA) has formed a 10-member taskforce to ensure 15 percent agent commission according to an Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) circular. The taskforce will not only work for ensuring agent commission but also for removing all kinds of irregularities from this sector, said BIA leaders at a press conference at its office in the city Monday. They said the decision was taken in a meeting of all companies’ directors and chairmen the same day. BIA chairman Sheikh Kabir Hossain said there were many irregularities regarding agent commission that is about to stop now.
