Increase on cargo from Eastern Med to Chile

MSC is to impose a general rate increase from 10 June on all westbound cargo shipped from ports in Turkey, the Black Sea, and Greece to the ports of Arica and Iquique in Chile.

The increase of US$200 per teu and $400 per feu will also apply to all cargo transhipped from Istanbul, Gebze, Mersin, Gemlik, Izmir, Aliaga, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Beirut, Limassol, Alexandria, Port Said, Constanza, Odessa, Burgos, Varna, Poti, Illychivsk, and Novorossyisk.
