The Agneepath heroine is looking forward to the Dharma Productions’ head honcho’s 40th birthday bash
Our gossipmonger from the inner circles of Bollywood quashed the report that Priyanka Chopra’s name isn’t on the list of invitees for Karan Johar’s big soiree on May 24, to bring in his 40th birthday. If you remember one of the reasons we suspected the Desi Girl wasn’t invited to the big bash was that the filmmaker’s best friend Gauri Khan wouldn’t be thrilled to be under the same roof with Priyanka, who allegedly had a hot affair with Shahrukh Khan. But we figured there was one more reason PC wasn’t on the guest list.

Apparently KJo was mighty miffed with his Agneepath heroine for indirectly stating in an interview that he wasn’t a genuine friend. Obviously the 39-year-old filmmaker didn’t take it lightly and vented out his anger on the social networking site Twitter.

But immediately after the news of her omission from the invitees list became public, Karan had a change of heart and mind. He decided to let bygones be bygones and make his big day memorable for the right reasons. The birthday boy dashed off a last minute invite to Priyanka that she happily accepted. In fact she promised to return from Europe (she has gone there to attend her brother’s graduation ceremony) in time for the birthday bash. That’s not all, if our gossipmonger is to be believed PC’s quite excited to make her presence felt at the party.

That means clearly Karan believes that people give you Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, but eventually We Are Family!
