FedEx Corporation : FedEx Express Announces North Pacific Regional Hub
HONG KONG, May25, 2012-FedEx Express, an operating company of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) today announced its decision to establish a new FedEx North Pacific (NPAC) Regional Hub at Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka, Japan.

The NPAC regional hub will serve as a consolidation point for shipments from northern Asia to the United States.The NPAC regional hubalso will continue to operate as an internationalgateway for our customers in western Japan.The 24-hour operation at the expanded facility will allow FedEx greater operational flexibility to meet its customers' needs.
The agreement with Kansai International Airport Co., Ltd. for this new 25,000 square-meterfacility includes customs clearance operations, ramp operations, sort and transshipment operations.It is expected the facility will be in operation in spring, 2014. The role of the FedEx Asia Pacific Hub in Guangzhou, China remains unchanged.

"With the establishment of the FedEx NPAC Regional Hub, we will be able to provide a superior level of service to our customers within and outside of the APAC region.
