Dell has completed the acquisition of cloud client computing specialist Wyse Technology. The transaction is expected to extend Dell's desktop virtualization offerings. The Dell Wyse services portfolio includes thin, zero and cloud client computing services with management, desktop virtualization and cloud software supporting desktops, laptops and next generation mobile devices. Dell's existing offerings include Desktop Virtualization Solution Simplified and Desktop Virtualization Solution Enterprise. Dell plans to preserve Wyse's channel offerings and all existing Wyse channel partners will be eligible for its PartnerDirect Program. Financial terms related the the transaction have not been disclosed.
