The High Court has asked the district administration of Chittagong to submit the file of a case on acquisition of land in Anwara upazila.

A High Court division bench recently issued the order following a writ petition filed in this regard by Interbulk Overseas SA Bangladesh Limited.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-Land) Humayun Kabir acknowledged having received the court order and said the administration will submit “soon the

file on the Anwara land-acquisition case to the High Court as per its directive”.

The High Court bench, in its order on May 16, gave the administration three weeks from the date of receipt of the order to place the file with the court.
