CCC to feed Vitamin A capsules tomorrow
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) will feed vitamin A capsules to 6 lakh children, aged between six months to five years, in the port city tomorrow.

The service will be given from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the booths arranged by CCC in every ward.

CCC Mayor M Monjur Alam made the announcement at a press conference at the CCC building in the city yesterday.

One lakh children aged 6-11 months and 5 lakh children aged 1-5 years will be given two different doses of Vitamin A as part of the national campaign.

Additionally, 4 lakh children aged 2-5 years will be fed with anti-worm tablet (Elbendazol-400mg) under the programme.

The mayor urged all to bring their children for the doses, which can help prevent childhood blindness, reduce child mortality and strengthen immunity.
