Indian visa centre opens at Jessore
Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla yesterday inaugurated a visa application centre in Jessore town.

Shringla in his speech said Jessore is the 12th visa centre in Bangladesh. The country has the highest number of visa centres compared to other countries in the world. This is a testimony to the strong bonds of friendship the two countries.

“Last year, we issued close to one million visas to Bangladesh nationals, which is a record,” Shringla said.Local lawmakers Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Manirul Islam and Swapan Bhattachariya were present.
